Please join Mount Sinai and our community as we dedicate our Shoah Quilt, a Quilt of Memory and Hope, at Yom HaShoah Observances on Sunday, May 4, 2008 at 10:00 AM., Mount Sinai Simi Valley.

The Quilt is composed of squares created by survivors, their families and friends and people from around the world. Rabbi David Wolpe of Sinai Temple will be our keynote speaker, and together we will hear in the first person stories behind the Quilt, as told by the Quilt square creators and their families.

We'll hear the voice of Anne Frank as spoken through the Long Beach Opera Company. In addition, we've invited representatives from over 30 countries to place memorial stones in the Grove of Righteous Rescuers, dedicated to those who assisted in the rescue of many lives.

Everyone attending this year's observance will be invited to wear a yellow kriah ribbon to symbolize the losses suffered in the Holocaust.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, May 4, 2008 at 10:00 AM in Kamenir Chapel at Mount Sinai Simi Valley:
