Memories of Arthur
Dear Edith and Family,
Cathy and I would like to express our deepest sympathy on the passing of Arthur. As a retired employee of Magnavox (Ft. Wayne), there are so many fond memories of his leadership skills and his personal involvement in so many facets of the Mx Torrance operations. He was indeed a man of many talents. My one disappointment, Arthur,did not (to the best of my knowledge) pen his autobiography....it would have been most interesting. I did encourage him to do so on several occasions. His early years were filled with so many personal challenges. May his memory live on. .
While I feel deeply the loss of a man I considered a mentor and dear friend, I find solace in the fact that Arthur's was truly a life well lived. He always met everyone more than halfway, always valued family, always had a smile. I am grateful for the Shabbat we spent together so recently and the hours we whiled away in pleasant conversation. May his memory be blessed.
