Edward Segal

Segal, Edward Allan
November 24,1932- August 18, 2010
Eddie passed away peacefully and was surrounded by his family on August 18, 2010 at his home after a long illness. Eddie was born on Thanksgiving, Nov. 24, 1932 in Los Angeles, CA. As a second generation Angeleno, he lived his entire life in the L.A. area (West Adams, Westchester, Torrance) and served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict from 1952-1954. Eddie had a great sense of humor and was passionate about photography and sports, especially the Trojans, Dodgers, and the Lakers. Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife and best friend of 57 years, Marilyn "Cookie"; devoted father of Elaine (Ruben) Jauregui, David (Laura) Segal;
adoring papa of Matthew Segal; "sisters"-in-law and "brothers"-in-law Iris and Gene Rothstein, Jeri Bronstrup, Adrienne and Robert Feldner; special "brothers" Buck (Pat) Schott, Ben (Fran) Borok; and fantastic nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to your favorite charity in his memory.
